Some walls are simply waiting for flowers. The one behind your bed, the first thing you see every morning. The drawing room wall your family and guests will gather in front of this Diwali. Chosen well, floral paper feels less like decoration and more like the room is finally complete. This page helps you choose the scale, the colour and the number of rolls, so the wall turns out the way you pictured it.
Choosing a scale that feels right
Large blooms read best on a single wall with some distance in front of it, such as the wall behind the bed or the one facing the sofa. Smaller, tighter repeats can wrap a whole room without crowding it. A simple test: stand where you usually sit, and picture the flowers at the size of your hand or of a dinner plate. Whichever feels right from there is your scale.
What to know before you order rolls
Most rolls here are 53 cm wide and 10 or 10.5 metres long, and one scenic design comes in a larger 210 x 280 cm format. Most floral designs are a half-drop match, and the pattern repeats every 50 to 64 cm. Matching a repeat like that uses more paper than a plain, so measure the width and height and allow for it, or book an in-home design visit and we will work out the roll count with you.
Prices run from ₹8,900 to ₹36,935 a roll. Two designs sit at the top of that range, and most are between ₹8,900 and ₹11,899.
If leaves and gardens appeal more than blossoms, see botanical and leaf wallpapers, or browse every wallpaper. Pair either with curtain fabric by the metre to finish the room.
Questions people ask before ordering
Does floral wallpaper suit a modern flat?
Yes, when the scale and colour are chosen with the room in mind. A single papered wall in a soft colourway works well in a modern flat and sits easily beside plain furniture. Most floral designs at Jagdish Store come in two to five colourways, from cream and sage to navy and ochre.
How many rolls of floral wallpaper do I need?
It depends on your wall and the pattern repeat. Most rolls at Jagdish Store are 53 cm wide and 10 or 10.5 metres long, and floral repeats here run from 50 to 64 cm. Share your wall measurements, or book a design visit, and we will give you an exact count.
What is a half-drop match?
In a half-drop match, the pattern on every second strip is shifted down by half a repeat, so the motifs form a diagonal rhythm across the wall instead of straight rows. It looks more natural for flowers, and it uses a little more paper than a straight match.
How much does floral wallpaper cost at Jagdish Store?
Floral wallpaper at Jagdish Store costs from ₹8,900 to ₹36,935 a roll, with most designs between ₹8,900 and ₹11,899. Each product page shows the exact price per roll in rupees, along with the colourways available.
One last thing before you choose
Wallpaper never looks quite the same on a screen as it does on your own wall. Colours that feel soft at noon can turn warm and deep under evening lamps, so picture the design in both lights before you decide. When you order, buy every roll for the wall together, because printed batches can differ slightly in tone and a top-up months later rarely matches.
