Collection: Bath Mats

A bath mat gets stood on with wet feet every morning, so the first thing to judge is how it feels and how fast it dries, and only then the colour. The mats here come in three materials, cotton, bamboo and microfibre, in sizes from a small 40 x 60 cm mat to a 60 x 180 cm runner that covers the whole length of a bathroom.

Every one is made in India by Spread and delivered by Jagdish Store across the country.

Picking the material that suits your bathroom

Cotton is the familiar choice, and it is the one most homes already trust next to their towels. The Earth Cotton range comes in quiet shades such as grey, light beige, silver and white.

Bamboo mats suit a bathroom with a contemporary look. They come in medium and large sizes, plus an extra long 50 x 130 cm piece and an oversized 60 x 90 cm one.

Microfibre is where most of the choice sits. The Lamb, Superba and Water and Soil ranges are all microfibre, and between them they carry the widest spread of colours, from carbon and navy blue to gold and pink.

Getting the size right

Measure the floor in front of the shower or the basin before you choose. A 50 x 80 cm mat sits neatly in front of a single basin. In front of a shower or a double vanity, a 60 x 130 cm or 60 x 180 cm runner keeps the whole wet area covered, so nobody steps off onto bare tiles.

For a corner or a powder room, the round Lamb mats come in 60 cm and 92 cm across. If you want a matching pair, the Superba 2-piece set pairs a 50 x 50 cm mat with a 50 x 80 cm one in the same shade.
